Now you have begun work on your final school magazine front cover, it is important that you begin to publish evidence of your research and planning on your blogs. The following criteria must be evidenced:

-Institutional information
-Front cover deconstruction using correct terminology
-Effective audience research
-Contents page deconstruction
-Reader profile
-Survey results
-Interview with J Appleton
-Schedule of actors/models
-Draft sketches of front cover and contents page
-Shotlist
-Attractive blog layout
-Information easy to navigate -Blog functions used fully

Over half-term, you will need to complete these uploads ready for marking.

Beginning your School Magazine Cover

Well done to Jaeden and Stephanie for uploading your identity magazine cover. Comments will be uploaded shortly.

This week's homework is to complete and conduct your survey to help you research what to put into your magazine. Remember to survey 10 boys and 10 girls, plus show them some front cover mock ups to help with your layout decisions.

On Tuesday we will be planning front covers influenced by your findings, and hopefully receiving some advice from a visiting Graphic Designer. If you wish to take further photos for your cover there will also be an opportunity to do this.
